Tinaliah Designs is for the ones who persevere past their troubles and triumph over their obstacles.

I am Catherine: Artisan Milliner and Fashion Accessories Designer. Originally from the South of France, I was raised in Cameroun Africa, and then the South Pacific and France. I  graduated from the Australian Hat Academy. 
My husband John is a big part of the business. Retired now, he blocks the hats. We are deeply involved in the artisans economy, to benefit minorities. See non-profit. 

My inflences are diverse, from international black cultures, to traditional French couture, contrasting with New York modern edge, (near where I now live in Connecticut) and by the love of travelling and exploring. I used fashion and design to bring joy, comfort, and to build a bridge between our differences and overcome life difficulies. Every detail matters.
