In New Haven, we support local designers, improving 8 brands and creating 6 businesses.
Let's face it we are in New Haven CT, not in Paris, LA or NY, so resources can be limited, but as a team, hubby John and I, have pulled our resources together to improve the scene for aspiring local designers and other local textile enthusiasts, at times on a non-profit or as small business.
If you are a brand owner and want to learn to sew, ask advice on making the right choice of fabric for your product (each fabric has its own personality or create a pattern for something you have in mind :). With 30 plus years of experience, we will be able to help you.
